Supported combination: platform 2026.10.1rc17 · tooling 2026.10.1rc17.
Develop Actions
Publish an Action
Authenticate to an OCI registry and publish a validated Action image.
Authenticate
Terminal
pyplines-action registry login registry.example.com --username alice
pyplines-action registry list
For automation, supply a password or token on stdin with --password-stdin. JSON login requires that option. Credentials are stored through a native credential helper; they are separate from Docker credentials and the server's registry connections.
Publish
Set the Action's name and normalized CalVer version in pyproject.toml. Then publish to your registry namespace:
Terminal
pyplines-action push ./hello-world registry.example.com/actions --yes
The command builds and validates the packaged Action before publishing. It appends the Action name and version to the destination. Use --plain-http only for an explicitly trusted HTTP development registry.
Terminal
pyplines-action info registry.example.com/actions/hello-world:2026.10.1
Replace the example version with the version you published. Definitions use published Actions; local development caches are not deployment artifacts.
Remove local credentials
Terminal
pyplines-action registry logout registry.example.com
